Why should I go on a model home and factory tour?

Learn

This might be the biggest investment of your life. Make an educated decision on whether conventional construction or a True North log home is right for you.

Learn about our manufacturing and building processes and how our patented technology is part of a True North log home.

Two exceptionally talented and willing volunteers will assemble a log wall right before your eyes. It’s so easy to assemble that even the kids can swing a hammer!

Meet

Meet our team and get to know your sales representative!

See

See how a True North Log Homes patented KeyLock® is installed and how we can provide the only “Zero” Air Infiltration Warranty in the world. Our log homes are unique and structurally sound, not only because they’re made from top quality materials sourced from Canada, but because our homes incorporate our own inventions.

Discover how the most technologically advanced log home in the world is produced, how our Digital Inventory Control System protects our customers from theft on the job site, and how we create the world’s first maintenance free log home without exterior chinking or caulking required.

Watch

Watch a patented dovetail get cut in less than 30 seconds!

Examine

Check out our full-size logs and our different combinations of log profiles and corner profile options.

Round groove, double D, V-groove, outside D… even the colours: woodlands, hazelnut, mocha, deep brown, iron mountain… or surface finish… think of the possibilities! Ask your sales consultant for more information on building options.

Explore

Take a walk through our Citadel III, Cabot I, and Louisburg I models and see what a real-life log home is like, inside and out.

Want more? Book a private tour with your sales consultant to tour some of our other model homes including Aspen VIII. Take a peek at our upcoming Blackstone III home on Lake Muskoka. Upon special request, more homes are available for viewing.

I live far away, what are my options?

If you’re driving or flying from a distance and need somewhere to stay overnight, we recommend the Residence Inn in Gravenhurst and the Sleep Inn in Bracebridge. Both are within a 15-minute drive of our model. We are also conveniently located nearby the Muskoka Regional Airport, Lake Simcoe Regional Airport, North Bay Jack Garland Airport, and Toronto Pearson International Airport if you choose that mode of transportation.

Two airfares are also reimbursed upon the purchase of a True North log home. We also have a corporate discount at these hotels, please call us so we can assist you.

Where do I check in on the day of the tour?

Registration on the day of our Model Home and Factory Tour begins at 8:30 a.m. at our Louisburg model home located at 1730 Winhara Road. We will accept donations, provide you with materials for the day, and give you directions to our True North Log Homes factory. We ask that upon arrival at our factory, you park outside the gates.

We offer both a light breakfast with hot beverages and a full lunch after the Citadel III tour.

Is there a cost?

We don’t charge admission but ask for a $10.00 donation to SickKids Hospital in Toronto and South Muskoka Hospital Foundation. Every dollar donated is matched dollar-for-dollar by True North log homes.  These causes are near and dear to our hearts and we really appreciate your support.

This is a purely educational seminar. We want to make sure that you are fully informed before making a buying decision.

Please bring your questions, we’re more than happy to answer them!
